MONTHLY UPDATE | DECEMBER 2022
A NOTE FROM THE CEO
“She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.’ All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet: ‘Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel’ (which means, God with us).” Matthew 1:21-23
Immanuel… God with us! During this Christmas season, may we embrace this most profound truth that a holy God has come to this earth to seek and to save all who will believe upon the name of Jesus Christ.
We celebrate that we have completed an additional six recordings with 26 underway, which means we are on track to meet our 2022 recording goals.
On a more personal note, we recently received news of the passing of Bishop Dr. Joshua Ntitika, one of the narrators of the Maasai audio Bible in Kenya that we published in 2020. We are thankful for Bishop Ntitika’s role in bringing God’s Word to the Maasai people and know we will see him again. Below we feature our video in which he shares about the importance of an audio Bible in Maasai. Please remember his family in your prayers.
Lastly, we ask you to consider a year-end gift to help us fulfill the generous $300,000 matching gift opportunity to provide more oral learners with access to an audio Bible.
Thank you for your faithful support of Davar.
We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

IN MEMORY OF BISHOP DR. JOSHUA NTITIKA
Bishop Dr. Joshua Ntitika, one of the narrators for the Maasai audio Bible in Kenya, passed unexpectedly this month. We are grateful for his efforts and his passion to help the Maasai people to know the one true God. In this video we interviewed him when we launched the Maasai audio Bible in Kenya in 2019. He will be greatly missed.
