MONTHLY UPDATE | JUNE 2023

Sing to the Lord, all the earth! Tell of his salvation from day to day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples. — 1 Chronicles 16:23-24

God’s Word is living and active and transforming lives daily. How marvelous it is to be able to participate in the sharing of God’s Word in audio so that many more can learn about His salvation.

As you look at the recording update below, you’ll see countries from all over the world included – Peru, Nepal, Slovakia, India, Ukraine, Philippines, Indonesia, Cameroon and many more. It is exciting to realize that the speakers whose languages are represented here will soon have an opportunity to hear God’s Word in their own language, possibly for the first time, including on the radio every Tuesday evening in Rwanda! We want to continue to share about our May trip to Ethiopia, where our partner, The Word for the World (TWFTW), introduced us to translators, narrators, and numerous church communities. One introduction that I will not forget was to four brothers in Christ who were responsible for both the translation of the Maale written Bible and the narration of the Maale audio Bible. I was in awe of their years-long commitment to bring the Bible to the Maale speakers in their own language. It was a beautiful sight to see their joy when we provided them the full audio Bible in Maale. Please take a few minutes to learn about these community leaders, get to know some of the other people and communities we encountered and how the audio bibles are being used.
